The Allen-Bradley 1784-PCIC is a ControlNet Universal PCI Communication Interface Card used to connect a PCI-equipped personal computer directly to a ControlNet industrial network. The PCIC is primarily a messaging, monitoring, and configuration interface; unlike the 1784-PCICS, it does not provide ControlNet I/O bridging.
